NUSANTARA

Nusantara is a term used to describe an archipelago stretching from Sumatra to Papua, which is now largely part of the Indonesian state. This word was first recorded in Middle Javanese literature (12th to 16th century) to describe the concept of state adopted by Majapahit. The map of the archipelago covered in gold symbolizes the homeland of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia in the Monas Independence Room, Jakarta After being forgotten, at the beginning of the 20th century this term was revived by Ki Hajar Dewantara [1] as an alternative name for the independent state that continued the Dutch East Indies that had not yet been realized. When the use of the name “Indonesia” (meaning Indian Archipelago) was approved for the idea, the word Nusantara was still used as a synonym for the Indonesian archipelago. This definition has been used in Indonesia until now. As a result of subsequent political developments, this term was later used to describe the geographic-anthropological unity of the archipelago located between the continents of Asia and Australia, including the Malay Peninsula but usually excluding the Philippines. In this last sense, Nusantara is the equivalent of the Malay Archipelago, a term that was popular in the late 19th to early 20th centuries, especially in English literature. * jajat * WA 088218039604 https://ykbs.org * # Giving Care for Nutrition H-3 * *#Take care of health* * # Prayers for orphans for Indonesia * * # Let’s make them happy with balanced nutrition *
